The Intervention to Attain group is being offered to schools because of an identified gap in existing services. The focus will be on young people where truancy, condoned absence and non-attending are the main presenting problems. Referrals with attendance rate of 30% or below will be considered.
Qualifications/Awards Achieved
Subjects which can be offered to young people from BGE to National 3/4 level include:
· Maths
· English
· Modern Studies
· History
· RMPS
Support can also be arranged for selected National 5 subjects.
Provision can also include National 3 Fashion and Textiles in a 1-1 or small group setting.
Progression Routes
This programme can help support a return to mainstream education or college in order to help young people achieve further national qualifications or transition to work/training in a timely way.
